The following items require confirmation with the congregation. Their presence in this list does not mean they have been verified.

Legal responsibility & payment recipient

Request the registered legal entity, authorised representatives, relevant registration documents and verified payment instructions. Tax treatment and receipt eligibility depend on the donor’s jurisdiction and need separate confirmation.

Land, permissions & construction readiness

Request evidence of land rights, required approvals, construction plans, procurement arrangements and a dated schedule.

Funding commitments & operating plan

Request current secured amounts, the remaining funding need, an itemised budget and operating projections for each center.

Safeguarding & reporting

Request safeguarding policies for children and vulnerable people, consent arrangements for photographs, and the proposed financial and impact reporting process.

Next milestones to confirm

  1. Validate the project baseline. Confirm the budget, funding position, land and permissions.
  2. Define the partnership. Agree a full or partial component, conditions and reporting milestones.
  3. Approve a dated delivery plan. Reconcile the proposal’s 18-month duration and 548 construction working days before announcing dates.
  4. Document delivery and outcomes. Agree expenditure evidence, progress updates and how beneficiary outcomes will be measured.
